Since its founding in 1980, b+w Electronic Systems has been supplying innovative switching and control systems from its base in Oberhausen.

In the year 1997 our company relocated to the premises in the "Neue Mitte" Oberhausen.

After the completion of the second building phase in October 2001, we now have at our disposal 12.000 m² for administration, production, research and development as well as for our training and service centre for customers and employees.

The positive and continuous development of the business is reflected in spacious administration and production areas as well as in a continuously growing staff with 230 skilled employees currently.

As a result of b+w's consistent aim to pursue innovation in all product areas, b+w was granted a patent for a state of the art, technically advanced electrical power distribution unit. b+w's approach always has been to satisfy customers' demands and to fulfil responsibility towards its partners.

Driven by the globalisation of markets b+w electronic systems developed strong trade links and cooperation with international partners in Europe, the USA, Asia and Africa at a very early stage. Our first european subsidiary was established in England 1994.

In order to provide a high quality standard for our products and services we have been working with an authorized and certified organisation which permanently has been auditing the company since 1985. Since this time we have been certified according to DIN ISO 9001 .
